Terms of Service

1. Operator and key terms

The Operator of the OneMoreStud service is:

Josef Kocurek
Company ID (IČO): 06431119
Business address: Halenkov 31, 756 03 Halenkov, Czech Republic
Email: hi@onemorestud.com
Website: onemorestud.com

For the purposes of these terms:

  • “Service” — the OneMoreStud web application available at onemorestud.com, which enables creators to upload files in LDraw format (.ldr, .mpd) and create interactive 3D building instructions from them.
  • “User” — any natural or legal person who uses the Service.
  • “Creator” — a registered user who uploads their own models to the Service.
  • “Builder” — a user who views interactive building instructions through the Service.
  • “Model” — a project consisting of an LDraw file and its metadata (title, description, image, PDF) uploaded by a creator; also referred to as a “project” in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • “Content” — all materials uploaded or generated by a user through the Service.

2. Who these terms apply to and how the contractual relationship is formed

These terms govern the rights and obligations between the Operator and the User when using the Service. They form an integral part of the contract for the provision of the Service.

Who may use the Service: The Service is intended exclusively for persons aged 18 or older. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Formation of the contract: The contractual relationship is formed upon completion of registration (entering an email address and verifying identity). The User is obliged to familiarise themselves with these terms before completing registration. Anonymous model preview (preview mode) takes place entirely in the user’s browser; the rules on prohibited content under Section 5.2 apply to it to a reasonable extent — the uploaded content must not violate these rules, even though the Operator has no access to it and cannot remove it itself.

Consumers: If you use the Service as a consumer (a natural person acting outside the scope of their business activity), the protective provisions of Act No. 634/1992 Coll. (Consumer Protection Act) and the relevant provisions of Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (Civil Code) apply to you in full.

3. Description of the Service and available plans

3.1 Free use

  • Guest (preview): Uploading and viewing a model without registration, stored in the browser (IndexedDB) — referred to as “anonymous preview” or “preview mode” in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. All features are fully available; the model is not accessible from another device and cannot be shared.
  • Public model (public): A registered creator may publish a model with a shareable link. Public models are currently available free of charge; any future changes are governed by Sections 6.2 and 11 of these terms.

3.2 Trial period

After registration, each creator is entitled to one model in commercial mode free of charge for 14 days from the first upload. The purpose is to allow testing of paid features before purchasing them. After the trial period expires, the model enters a limited state (builders will see an expiration notice; the model content remains stored and the creator may activate it).

The right to a trial period arises only once for the entire lifetime of the account — not repeatedly for each additional model. The trial period cannot be repeated, transferred to another model, or extended. Each user is entitled to create only one account; the Operator reserves the right to terminate the trial period or cancel an account if there is reasonable suspicion of abuse through multiple accounts.

3.3 Commercial subscription

Permanent access for builders and advanced features (password protection, commercial sharing) are available in the form of an annual subscription at a price of EUR 15 / model / year (price includes value added tax). Creem, as Merchant of Record, remits VAT out of this price at the rate applicable in the customer's jurisdiction; the amount payable is always EUR 15, regardless of the customer's country. The Operator is not a VAT payer.

Payments are processed exclusively through Armitage Labs OÜ (Estonia), operating the Creem platform (hereinafter “Creem”), which acts as Merchant of Record. This means that the purchase contract for the subscription is concluded directly between you and Creem — not with the Operator. Creem’s terms are available at creem.io/buyer-terms. The Operator activates the commercial features of the model upon receipt of payment confirmation from Creem.

Renewal and termination of subscription: The subscription renews automatically each year. Cancellation is possible at any time in the Creem customer portal; the paid period runs until the end, after which the model enters a limited state. The Operator will notify you by email 7 days and 1 day before the subscription is due to expire; notifications are sent through the email service provider and the Operator is not liable for non-delivery caused by circumstances on the part of that provider.

3.4 Micro-donations (supporting OneMoreStud)

In addition to commercial subscription, you may voluntarily support the Service with a one-off financial contribution through the /{lang}/donate page (the “Support on Ko-fi” button).

Payment method: the button leads to the external platform Ko-fi (ko-fi.com/onemorestud), opened in a new window/tab — this is not a payment processed by OneMoreStud or a payment within the Service. Ko-fi itself is not a payment provider; it processes the donation through its own payment mechanism (typically via a third-party provider such as PayPal or Stripe, under Ko-fi’s terms). The contractual relationship for the payment arises between the donor and Ko-fi (or its payment provider) — not with the Operator. Ko-fi’s terms are available at ko-fi.com/terms, its privacy policy at ko-fi.com/privacy.

Nature of the contribution: this is a voluntary donation without consideration — OneMoreStud does not provide any additional features, licences, or services beyond free use of the Service in exchange for the contribution. The Operator does not process this payment and has no access to it — money does not flow through the Operator’s account, and the Operator receives no data about the donor or the transaction from Ko-fi (see Privacy Policy, Section 2.3).

Non-refundability and withdrawal: refund of a contribution and any right of withdrawal from the donation contract are governed exclusively by Ko-fi’s terms (or its payment provider’s) — the Operator does not process contributions, does not refund them, and cannot decide on them.

Distinction from creator tip jars: the same “outside OneMoreStud” principle applies to creators — some may offer on the model page their own link to an external page for direct support of the creator (tip jar), separate from the link above, which supports OneMoreStud itself. Such payments do not go through OneMoreStud, money does not flow through the Operator’s account, and the Operator is not a party to the relationship between the creator and the donor. The Operator is not responsible for the availability, content, or fulfilment of obligations on third-party external pages (Ko-fi or a creator’s tip jar).

3.5 Technical requirements and interoperability

Technical requirements: Viewing the interactive 3D building instructions requires a current version of a common web browser with WebGL and JavaScript support (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge); mobile devices and tablets are supported to the extent their browser provides this support. The Service does not require installing any application.

Technical protection measures: Password protection of a model (Section 3.3) is a contractual/technical measure restricting access to a commercially shared model to persons the creator has given the password to; it is not DRM and does not restrict copying of the uploaded file.

4. Right of withdrawal

4.1 Commercial subscription (Creem)

Because you enter into the subscription contract with Creem as Merchant of Record, your right of withdrawal is governed by Creem’s terms. In accordance with EU law, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion. Creem administers this right and pays any refunds directly.

When activating a subscription, you are asked to tick the relevant box to expressly request immediate activation of commercial features and confirm that you are aware of the loss of the right of withdrawal (Section 1837(l) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll.). If you give this consent, the right of withdrawal expires at the moment commercial features are activated; your consent and timestamp are recorded. If you do not give this consent, activation takes place after the 14-day withdrawal period has elapsed.

4.2 Free plans

The right of withdrawal from a distance contract under Section 1829 of the Civil Code applies regardless of whether the contract was formed for consideration. For free plans (guest preview, public model), however, this right lapses under Section 1837(a) of the Civil Code: the relevant service (making the preview available or publishing the model) is provided in full immediately, with the user’s express consent given by completing the relevant action, before the withdrawal period expires, and the user is informed of the consequence of this consent (loss of the right of withdrawal) by this provision itself.

5. Rights and obligations of the creator

5.1 Content uploaded to the Service

By uploading content to the Service, the creator declares and warrants that:

  1. They are entitled to upload the content and grant the Operator a free, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and make it available, in particular for:

    • (a) storage, backup, and replication of data for recovery purposes;
    • (b) distribution through CDN and technical caching;
    • (c) parsing, conversion, and transformation of the file for the purpose of displaying the interactive 3D building instructions;
    • (d) generating thumbnails, previews, and sharing images;
    • (e) indexing model metadata for search within the Service;
    • (f) sublicensing to technical processors (hosting, CDN, email) to the extent necessary for performance of the contract.

The licence expires upon deletion of the relevant content by the creator or cancellation of the account; backup copies are removed within 30 days of termination.

  2. The content does not infringe the rights of third parties (copyright, trademarks, patents). The creator uploads exclusively their own original models (MOC — my own creation) built from LDraw library parts, not a copy, scan, or other reproduction of official building instructions for licensed sets by The LEGO Group or other manufacturers.

  3. The content does not contain harmful code, malware, or other defective material.

The creator remains the exclusive owner of uploaded content. The Operator does not reserve the right to further licence, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit content beyond operation of the Service and, on the basis of the granted licence, does not acquire any separate copyright in the creator’s content.

5.2 Prohibited content

It is prohibited to upload content to the Service that:

  • violates applicable laws or the rights of third parties,
  • is a reproduction, copy, or derivative of an official building instruction for a licensed set (as opposed to the creator’s own original model — MOC),
  • contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code,
  • was obtained without the consent of the authorised person,
  • is defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.

The Operator is entitled to remove or disable prohibited content without prior notice and to suspend or cancel the account. The affected creator will be informed by email of the removal or disabling of content together with the reasons (see Section 5.4); this does not apply if notification would frustrate an ongoing investigation by public authorities.

Repeat infringer policy (DMCA): for users subject to US law, the Operator designates hi@onemorestud.com as its designated agent for the purposes of 17 U.S.C. § 512. The account of a creator who repeatedly and demonstrably infringes third-party copyright will be terminated in accordance with Section 6.3.

5.3 Protection of builders’ privacy

The creator must not knowingly collect or process builders’ personal data through the Service without their consent.

5.4 Reporting unlawful or unethical content

Anyone may report content they consider unlawful or unethical to the Operator at hi@onemorestud.com (contact point under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services). The report should include: a link to the affected content (model URL), an explanation of why the content is considered unlawful or objectionable, contact details of the reporter, and a statement by the reporter that, to the best of their good-faith belief, the information and claims in the report are accurate and complete (Article 16(2)(d) of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services).

The Operator will assess the report without undue delay and inform the reporter and the affected creator of the outcome. Upon removal or disabling of content, the creator will receive a statement of reasons containing the facts on which the decision is based, the legal or contractual grounds for the measure, and information on available remedies (an objection to hi@onemorestud.com, out-of-court dispute resolution under Section 9.4, or judicial redress); the creator may lodge an objection at the same address.

5.5 Sale of models outside the Service

The Operator provides only a technical platform for displaying interactive building instructions. If a creator sells access to their models (e.g. by providing a link and password to a buyer through other platforms), such a contract is concluded exclusively between the creator and the buyer — the Operator is not a party to this relationship and is not responsible for the creator’s fulfilment of obligations towards their buyers, including availability of the model after deletion of the account or model by the creator or after expiry of commercial subscription.

If the creator breaches the declarations and warranties under Section 5.1, they will compensate the Operator for damage arising from third-party claims resulting from that breach, including reasonably incurred legal representation costs, to the extent that such breach was caused by the creator. This obligation does not apply to claims arising from circumstances the creator did not cause, and does not limit any rights the creator has as a consumer under mandatory statutory provisions.

If the Operator removes or disables a model under Section 5.2 or 5.4, builders lose access to it regardless of whether they purchased that access from the creator outside the Service. In such a case, the Operator will endeavour to inform the creator of the action with reasonable advance notice, where compatible with the purpose of the measure, so the creator can settle their obligations towards buyers.

5.6 Transparency reporting

The Operator will publish a summary content moderation report at onemorestud.com/legal once a year under Article 15 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, containing in particular the number of reports received under Section 5.4, their average handling time, and an overview of measures taken.

6. Rights and obligations of the Operator

6.1 Availability of the Service

The Operator makes reasonable efforts to ensure availability of the Service. However, it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserves the right to temporarily limit the Service or part of it for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond its control. Users will be informed of planned outages at least 24 hours in advance where technically possible; emergency and security interventions may take place without prior notice. The Operator is not liable for unavailability caused by outages of third-party infrastructure. These provisions do not constitute a service level agreement (SLA).

6.2 Changes to the Service

The Operator is entitled to continuously develop, modify, or discontinue the Service, in particular due to changes in law, security risks, changes in infrastructure providers’ cost structure, or technological development of the Service. Creators will be informed by email of material changes that negatively affect paid plans at least 30 days in advance. This period does not apply to changes required by law, court decision, or security incident — in such cases the Operator will inform without undue delay. In such a case, the creator has the right to terminate the contract without penalty; the Operator will take the appropriate steps with Creem as Merchant of Record for this purpose; the amount and timing of refunds are governed by Creem’s current terms.

6.3 Suspension and cancellation of account

The Operator is entitled to suspend or cancel an account if:

  • the user seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms,
  • there is reasonable suspicion of fraudulent conduct,
  • required by law.

The Operator further reserves the right to temporarily suspend an account (for up to 14 days) while investigating reasonable suspicion of breach of the terms.

Upon suspension or cancellation of an account under this Section, the affected user will receive a statement of reasons containing the facts, the grounds for the measure, and information on the possibility to lodge an objection to hi@onemorestud.com; this does not apply if notification would frustrate an ongoing investigation by public authorities.

Upon suspension or cancellation of an account by the Operator without fault on the part of the user, the Operator will take the appropriate steps with Creem as Merchant of Record for this purpose; the amount and timing of refund of the proportional part of the subscription are governed by Creem’s current terms.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 The Service and its content

The Service, its source code, design, and all content created by the Operator are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. The user is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these terms.

7.2 Third-party trademark notice

This Service is not affiliated with, sponsored, approved, or licensed by The LEGO Group.

LEGO® is a registered trademark of The LEGO Group.

LDraw™ is a trademark managed by the LDraw.org community. The LDraw Parts Library is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

Creators are themselves responsible for complying with intellectual property rights when creating and sharing their models. The Operator does not tolerate uploading of reproductions of official building instructions for licensed sets — see Sections 5.1 and 5.2.

8. Limitation of liability

8.1 Scope of liability

The Operator is not liable for:

  • loss or damage to content uploaded by the user due to circumstances beyond its control (infrastructure outage, force majeure),
  • damage arising from interruption of Service availability,
  • content uploaded by users, including any infringement of third-party rights,
  • inaccuracies in the display of LDraw models caused by deficiencies in source files,
  • indirect damage, lost profit, or other indirect or consequential damage, even if the Operator was advised of the possibility of their occurrence,
  • security incidents caused by third-party attacks outside the Operator’s infrastructure.

8.2 Liability towards consumers

The limitation of liability under Section 8.1 does not apply to the extent that it would be contrary to mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act or the Civil Code. The Operator is in particular liable for defects of the Service in accordance with Act No. 374/2022 Coll. (implementation of Directive 2019/770/EU on digital content).

8.3 Maximum extent of compensation

The Operator’s total liability to a single user for any claims arising during one year is limited to the amount of fees paid by that user for the relevant year (for free plans, statutory rules apply without a financial cap). This limitation does not apply in the case of intentional conduct or gross negligence on the part of the Operator.

9. Complaints and grievances

9.1 Complaint procedure

Send complaints or grievances to hi@onemorestud.com. State a description of the defect or problem and relevant information (model name, date, description of the defect).

The Operator will confirm receipt of the complaint without undue delay and resolve it no later than 30 days from delivery. The user will be informed of the outcome by email.

9.2 Defects of the Service (digital content)

In accordance with Sections 2389a et seq. of the Civil Code (Act No. 374/2022 Coll.), the user has the right in the event of a defect of the Service to:

  • remedy of the defect (by repair or provision of an update), or
  • a reasonable reduction of the price, or
  • withdrawal from the contract, if the defect is not remediable or if the Operator has not removed the defect within a reasonable period.

For commercial subscription, the Operator is liable for conformity of the Service with the contract for the entire duration of the subscription. A defect must be reported without undue delay after it is discovered.

9.3 Payment complaints — Commercial subscription (Creem)

Complaints relating to payments, invoices, and refunds for the Commercial subscription (Section 3.3) are handled exclusively by Creem as Merchant of Record. Contact details for Creem are available in their terms of service. The Operator is not a party to the payment contract and cannot refund payments directly.

Complaints relating to micro-donations (Section 3.4) are handled directly by Ko-fi, or its payment provider — the Operator is not a party to that relationship.

9.4 Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers have the right to turn to an out-of-court dispute resolution body:

Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI)
Central Inspectorate — ADR Department
Štěpánská 15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic
web: adr.coi.cz

Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission’s platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

The Operator undertakes to participate in out-of-court dispute resolution.

10. Termination of the contract

10.1 Termination by the user

The user may delete their account at any time through settings (dashboard → delete account) or upon request sent to hi@onemorestud.com. Deletion of the account terminates all projects and associated data — including builders’ access to published models. A creator who has sold access to their models to third parties (Section 5.5) is responsible for settling obligations towards them independently. Paid subscription is not refunded for unused periods beyond what Creem’s terms allow.

10.2 Termination by the Operator

The Operator may terminate the contract with 30 days’ notice without giving reasons, or immediately upon breach of the terms under Section 6.3. Upon termination without fault on the part of the user, the Operator will take the appropriate steps with Creem as Merchant of Record for this purpose; the amount and timing of refund of the proportional part of the subscription are governed by Creem’s current terms.

10.3 Retention of data after termination

After account termination, data is deleted within 30 days, except for data that the Operator must retain by law (tax records — 10 years).

11. Changes to the terms

The Operator is entitled to change these terms, in particular in response to changes in law, security risks, changes in third-party terms (Creem, Resend), or technological and product development of the Service. Registered users will be informed of changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. This period does not apply to: (a) changes required by applicable law or court decision — such changes take effect on the date of the given regulation; (b) changes required by third-party terms (Creem, Resend) — effective on the date of the third party’s change; (c) editorial corrections without impact on user rights and obligations. If the user does not agree with the changes, they may terminate the contract before the effective date. Continued use of the Service after that date is deemed acceptance of the changes.

12. Governing law and competent court

These terms and all disputes arising from them are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. The court with subject-matter and territorial jurisdiction in the Czech Republic is competent to resolve disputes. For consumer disputes, the competent court is determined according to the consumer’s place of residence.

The choice of Czech law does not deprive a consumer with habitual residence in another EU Member State of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their state of habitual residence (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No. 593/2008 — Rome I).

13. Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. In such a case, the Operator and the user will endeavour to replace the invalid provision with a valid one that best corresponds to the original intent.

These terms are available in Czech and in English translation. In case of conflict, the Czech version prevails.

The current version of the terms is always available at onemorestud.com/legal/terms.

These terms are effective from 10 July 2026.
